2011 Ram 1500 Express Debut in Dallas Auto Show


Ram Truck recently revealed the details about the Moparized Ram 1500 Express pickup truck, previously the Adventurer. This new pickup truck is specially designed to provide a perfect alternative of a SUV for young customers.

In order to keep Ram 1500 Express in good position in the automotive market it is offered with loads of customization and personalization options. Mopar said that the vehicle will be available with several accessories. However, the production unit will come with chrome tubular side steps, Mopar chrome steel bed rails, folding and heated trailer-tow power mirrors with supplemental signals, courtesy lamps, spray-in bedliner, and under rail bedliner.

As far s interior is concerned, customers has a lot of personalization options such as he can opt for a cloth 40/20/40 split-bench seat, Uconnect voice command with Bluetooth, rear-view auto dim mirror, remote USB port, cruise control, sliding rear window, tire pressure monitoring display, vehicle information center display screen, power one-touch windows, remote keyless entry, carpet or rubber floor mats and Sirius Satellite Radio as well.

This vehicle is powered with a 5.7-L HEMI V8 engine capable of generating 390 HP and 407 lb-ft of torque capable of managing 20 mpg.

Other features include fog lamps, 20-inch aluminum wheels with locking lug nuts, locking tailgate, cargo lamp, rear-bumper step pad, 6″ x 9″ side-view mirrors and rear wheel-well liners. Ram 1500 Express will be offer in six magnificent exterior colors including Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl; Deep Water Blue Pearl; Flame Red, Hunter Green Pearl and Mineral Gray Metallic.

It will come with a price tag of $23,830 with additional $975 destination charge.
